The property is owned by the son of a parliamentarian from the Jawaharlal Nehru government, the first government of independent India. The bungalow has recently been tastefully refurbished to a high standard, and is situated in the rolling foothills of the Western Ghats, in the middle of a 1,300 acre rubber plantation. It is 1.5km from the nearest village road and even features its own heli-pad. If you are looking for peace, quiet, and privacy you will not be disappointed. The area has some great trekking opportunities with a member of staff on hand to guide you. The chef specialises in Indo-British cuisine.
